These products are designed, manufactured and tested to ensure their suitability for life critical applications and for use in adverse environmental conditions. These parts are manufactured specifically for medical applications and for military and aerospace markets.

High reliability parts are manufactured on a segregated line at our designated facility. The Coilcraft High Reliability specification details the stringent testing, traceability, and qualification parameters including 100% burn-in testing, 100% electrical screening and 100% visual inspection performed on each part. Customer specific requirements can also be incorporated into the testing procedure.

Custom COTS Solutions offers optional termination finishes for our standard products. Special RoHS compliant and non-RoHS (tin/lead) finishes can be applied to standard terminations to prevent gold embrittlement and tin whiskers, as well as to enhance board adhesion capabilities. Customized screening and data compilation of our off-the-shelf components are also available.
